Struer har sit kerne-DNA i lyd. Som hjemby for Bang & Olufsen gennem snart 100 år er byen rig på kompetencer, historier og visioner, der alle har med lyd at gøre. 

 Som PRAKTIKANT i LYDENS BY indgår du i et samlet forløb, som giver dig indsigt i de mange forskellige måder, hvorpå områdets virksomheder, offentlige institutioner og kulturaktører arbejder strategisk med lyd.

Gennem virksomhedsbesøg, oplæg, workshops og fælles arbejdsdage får du indsigt i samspillet mellem by, virksomheder, borgere, kultur og alle de andre aktører i det lokale, økosystem, vi arbejder i, og du kan udvide dit faglige netværk både med de øvrige praktikanter i byen og med vores partnere fra byens danske og internationale virksomheder og institutioner.

Forløbet er lagt til rette, så du ca. 2 gange om måneden mødes med de øvrige praktikanter og udveksler erfaringer, og ad den vej får indblik i, hvordan jeres praktikvirksomheder hver især spiller ind i den store sammenhæng.

Samtidig giver det mulighed for at afsøge problemfelter og cases til dit speciale, hvis du er interesseret i at skrive det i forlængelse af din praktik.

 Struer has its core DNA in sound. As the hometown of Bang & Olufsen for 100 years, the city is rich in skills, stories and visions, all of which have to do with sound.

As an INTERN in the City of Sound, you will gain insigth in themany different ways in which the area's companies, public institutions and cultural actors work strategically with sound.

Through company visits, presentations and workshops, you will gain insight into the interaction between the city, companies, citizens, culture and all the other actors in the local ecosystem that we work in, and you willexpand your professional network both with the other interns in the city and with our partners from the city's Danish and international companies and institutions.

We will arrange for you to meet with the other interns and their hosts on a regular basis, and exchange experiences, and gain insight into how the internship companies all play into the larger context. At the same time, it provides the opportunity to explore problem areas and cases for your Master's thesis, should you be interested in writing it in continuation of your internship.
