Sounding City Summer School is design- and challenge-driven.

Today, most challenges are linked to complex problems, and such ‘wicked’ problems are best addressed in diverse partnerships, across sectors and skills. Therefore, challenge-driven design-processes guide our work. These processes require multiple competences and interdisciplinary teamwork: This is what you bring and this is what we do.   

Every year, Struer - City of Sound presents us with current problems and challenges for which we co-create recommendations and possible solutions, in collaboration with local stakeholders and knowledge partners.

At the beginning of the course, you are allocated to multidisciplinary teams. Each team is presented with an individual challenge that they work with throughout the two weeks in Struer.
